Professional Skin Retouching Photoshop Tutorial by Jessica Kobeissi

In this extensive tutorial Photographer Jessica Kobeissi demonstrates her skin retouching techniques for one of her fashion portraits. Essentially, Jessica uses the frequency separation technique. However, she names the Low Frequency layer as Skin and the High Frequency layer as Texture. Then she goes into the Skin layer to blend uneven tones with the healing brush. (Note, you can use a variety of tools and brushes here such as the paint brush, clone tool and mixer brush.) After that Jessica carefully clones away parts of the texture layer.
