The Massive List of Stock Image Resources
Whether you a photographer, retoucher, designer, digital artist, or blogger; you might find yourself in need of quality images. However, everyone should know by now that just googling a random image you want and pulling it off the internet, is a BIG NO NO! Copyright infringement is not cool, it has very uncool consequences. But don't worry there are plenty of places where you can get quality stock photos for your needs. There are tons of websites out there that offer stock images, some pretty pricey and some free. After doing some extensive searching, I put together this massive list of stock image resources online. This list is separated into 3 categories: Free, Budget Friendly, and Premium.
The free resources are sites that offer images for free with varying requirements and rules. Sites, such as Unsplash, offer images completely free with no attribution required; while other's do. Some have specific limitations and requirements on how you use them. So, I highly recommend reading each image/site license carefully before using them. It also helps to track where you found your images and what their licenses in a personal excel or PDF document.
The budget friendly resources offer images for affordable prices (some as low as $1-5 per image); while the premium resources are a bit more pricey, but higher quality.
Altogether, it's a good idea to read each license carefully and keep a record of each license; whether the image(s) are free or paid for.
